Witherby Publishing Group Charitable Trust
The Witherby Publishing Group Charitable Trust project at ±¬ÁÏTV helps talented individuals from rural and island communities who would otherwise struggle to access learning opportunities.
Statkraft
Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable power generator, is supporting ±¬ÁÏTV STEM students through the Statkraft STEM Entrance Scholarship Fund.
The Peter May Fiction Prize
An annual prize of £1,000 for creative writing, donated by internationally bestselling crime writer and Scottish author, Peter May.
Prize for Engineering Excellence
Donated by Willie Printie, the Prize for Engineering Excellence is awarded annually in recognition of academic excellence in engineering at degree level.
Highland Society of London Prize
£750 is awarded annually to the student with the undergraduate dissertation of the year in the Humanities and Gaelic subject network, on a Highlands and Islands theme.
HRI Munro Architecture Prize
This annual prize of £500 is presented to the highest achieving BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology student at ±¬ÁÏTV and includes an offer of a work placement at HRI Munro Architecture.
John Preston Music Awards
Funded through the Liam Colgan Music Fund (LCMF) on behalf of John Preston's widow Roz, who has set up a memorial fund in his memory.
The Liam Colgan Awards
Established in memory of Liam Colgan, to provide an opportunity for students to develop and enhance their songwriting and performing skills.
Prickly Thistle Rebel Fund
The Rebel Fund is donated by Prickly Thistle owner Clare Campbell to enable students at the university to ‘disrupt thinking’ in the creative industries.
Sidney Black Memorial Engineering Award
A £500 annual award to inspire female engineers to achieve their full potential. Donated in memory of Sidney Black who was driven by his passion for engineering.
TA Sillars Prize
This annual prize is supported by an individual donor, in memory of their father who was a retired headteacher and a keen educationalist with an interest in history and English.
BT SWAN Digital Bursary Fund
The SWAN Digital Bursary Fund generously supported by British Telecommunications PLC provides a helping hand to talented students who are working towards any qualification that would lead to a career working with digital technology.
Student Development Fund
RES, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, is providing students from a variety of academic backgrounds with grants of up to £1,000 to support their studies and take part in meaningful development opportunities beyond their courses.
ORION Scholarship Fund
Orion Engineering Services Ltd. are supporting student entrance scholarships for students studying a four-year honours degree course in any of the following courses: Bioscience BSc (Hons), Environmental Science BSc (Hons) or Marine Science BSc (Hons).
Future Leaders Fund
Backed by renewable industry leaders Fred. Olsen Seawind and Vattenfall is ±¬ÁÏTV’s largest ever scholarship bursary fund and aims to retain high-achieving and talented engineering students in the Highlands and Islands.
