±¬ÁÏTV Orkney unveils fresh look
±¬ÁÏTV Orkney, as part of the ±¬ÁÏTV (±¬ÁÏTV) partnership, has revealed a new name and visual identity to strengthen engagement with communities and market its offerings more effectively through a connected and recognisable brand family.
As well as fresh approaches to photography and design, the change features a new logo across campuses, based on the letters ‘±¬ÁÏTV’, and an embedded plus sign and strapline: ‘where learning means more’.
Claire Kemp, ±¬ÁÏTV Orkney Assistant Principal, said: “From the Weyland Agricultural Centre, to the Kirkwall College of Further Education and Orkney College ±¬ÁÏTV, this is our new chapter. We hope our communities will embrace our new identity as we look to the future and continue to provide an ever-growing range of diverse, flexible and supported learning opportunities from access level to PhD.
“±¬ÁÏTV Orkney is a partner of ±¬ÁÏTV and we are proud to continue serving our communities and connecting with their needs. We remain a tertiary institution, offering learning at all levels of education.
“±¬ÁÏTV is the official collective identity of our partnership, demonstrating that we are more than a college and more than a university, where we offer many more options and opportunities than any single college or university can.â€
Twelve years on from establishing university status, ±¬ÁÏTV has built a strong foundation to move into a new strategic chapter, affirming its role as a regionally focused partnership of independent colleges and research institutions covering the largest geographical area of any campus-based facility in the UK.
The new identity conveys the partnership’s aims to be more engaged, connected and enterprising.
